Library Card Signup Month 2017

September is Library Card Sign-up Month!

With back-to-school preparations well underway, the Gloucester County Library System joins public libraries nationwide to make sure that every student has the most important school supply of all – a free library card.

GCLS libraries still have books! There are picture books and story books to help babies and preschoolers establish early literacy skills; books for beginning readers and for older elementary school students; and books for high school and beyond.

Today’s libraries also offer eBooks, downloadable magazines, music, movies, and much more. The MakerStudio@GCLS in Mullica Hill and the CreativityStudio@GCLS in Glassboro offer everyone the chance to experience new technology like 3D printing and music mixing, and traditional handicrafts as well.

Research shows libraries play a critical role in the preparation of early learners, and set the foundation for a lifetime of learning. A library card is the key. Sign up today! For more information about GCLS libraries visit www.gcls.org or call 856-223-6070.
